I am a professor of political science in the University of Lille, France, and a fellow of the Institut Universitaire de France (IUF). My last book, ‘Agrarian Capitalism, War and Peace in Colombia: Beyond Dispossession’ (Routledge, 2021), explores the joint contribution of war making and peace making to the transformations of capitalism, through the lens of an in depth case study of Colombia, a country that I have studied for over a decade. My current research project deals with the links between peace-making policies and landed inequalities in a comparative perspective. I spend my time between France, Colombia, and Côte d’Ivoire.
