I am a professor of political science at Panthéon-Sorbonne University, Paris. My last book, ‘Agrarian Capitalism, War and Peace in Colombia: Beyond Dispossession‘ (Routledge, 2021), explores the joint contribution of war making and peace making to the transformations of capitalism, through the lens of an in depth case study of Colombia, a country that I have studied for over a decade. My current research project deals with the links between peacebuilding policies and land and environmental inequalities in a comparative perspective.
